Mr. Leong Lup Yan Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Leong Lup Yan (“Mr. Leong”) became the Chief Financial Officer of the Group on 20 November 2024. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).   He is responsible for leading the company’s financial and strategic direction, overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulations. He manages risk assessment, investor relations, and treasury operations to optimize cash flow. Collaborating with the CEO and executives, he supports strategic decision-making, mentors finance teams, and drives technological initiatives to enhance financial efficiency, fostering the company’s growth and success.   Mr. Leong started his career as an Audit Assistant in KPMG and left as a Supervisor of KPMG Tax Services. After leaving KPMG Tax Services, he joined AIC Corporation Berhad as the Head of Internal Audit in 1996. He was appointed the Chief Financial Officer of Jotech Holdings Berhad in August 2000, and Globaltec Formation Berhad (GFB) in 2013. He was later appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer of the Precision Stamping Division of GFB in June 2015, and later that year as Chief Executive Officer of Guangdong Jotech Kong Yue Precision Industries Ltd.   Mr. Leong was appointed to the Board of Jotech Metal Fabrication Industries Sdn Bhd in March 2018 as an Executive Director. He is also an Executive Director of Fast Energy Holdings Berhad since 13th September 2023, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sersol Berhad since August 2021.He founded IV Greentech Sdn Bhd and Innovative Vehicle Solutions Sdn Bhd in January and October 2024 respectively.
