Mr. Wu assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Cape EMS Berhad in June 2023, responsible for enhancing product quality and performance through rigorous client and internal product design reviews. He oversees the Research and Development (R&D) and Engineering teams. He holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and a Bachelor's from Tamkang University.
 
Mr. Wu's career began as an Engineer at Control Data Corporation in 1988. From 1989 to 2001, he worked at China Electronics Corporation (CEC), holding roles from Engineer to Vice General Manager. He served as Senior Director/VP at JDS Uniphase Corporation from 2001 to 2004, contributing to Active Devices operations and considered for the role of President for Greater China Regions.
 
As Chief Operating Officer at Global Lighting Technologies from 2004 to 2007, he managed Micro-Lens LCD modules for clients like Apple and Honeywell. From 2007 to 2014, he co-founded and managed Appotronics Corp., specializing in Semiconductor Light Source technology for projectors and stage lamps, resulting in over 200 patents and a successful public offering.
 
From 2014 to 2016, he was the Executive Director of Atron PTE LTD in Singapore, leading a comprehensive business overhaul, enhancing engineering, quality assurance, and introducing new talent.
 
From 2017 to 2022, he transitioned to academia, serving as a professor at Tamkang University in Taiwan and a lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Management at Fu-Jen University.
 
In 2020, he co-founded Sounds Great Co. Ltd., a startup that revolutionized semiconductor speakers with innovative Motion Chip technology, significantly reducing speaker size while maintaining sound quality. Mr. Wu, an IP inventor with over 50 patents, led R&D and operations. He's also a published author and actively engages in industry associations, being recognized as an Outstanding Alumni of Tamkang University.
 
In 2023, he joined the company as Chief Technology Officer.
