DEBUG TECHNICIAN
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair defective electronic components, circuit boards, and systems.
Perform detailed troubleshooting using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
Analyze test data to identify trends or recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineers to address complex debugging issues and implement solutions.
Maintain and update detailed documentation of debugging activities and findings.
Conduct functionality and performance tests to ensure systems meet quality standards.
Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures for debugging processes.
Support production teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
Train and guide junior technicians or operators on basic debugging processes.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
At least 2-3 years of experience in debugging electronic systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electronic components, schematics, and circuit board design.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and engineers.
Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.
Knowledge of IPC standards or other relevant industry standards is a plus.
Willing to work in shifts and adapt to dynamic manufacturing schedules.
Related knowledge & experience in SMT Electronic Industries for SMT Equipment, Reflow, Wave Soldering, Selective etc.
