ASSISTANT SOURCING MANAGER

Job Responsibilities   Work with the BD Team on the RFQ Package and initiate the sourcing activities.  Analysing quotes by all the suppliers and providing the proposed Cost BOM for Senior Sourcing Strategy Manager approval.  Manage the Quote Maintenance upon the approval from the new business awarded customer.  Audit the system purchase cost – to ensure all Purchase Orders are execute based on the approved allocated manufacturer and pricing.  Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement objectives. Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits. Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices. Regularly review and analyse sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.   Requirements   Degree in business administration or a related field Minimum five years of experience and required industry experience, including two years in supervisory role. Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Possesses the ability to lead and motivate teams. Demonstrates accountability, professional integrity, and attention to detail while managing tight deadlines and multitasking. Independent, self-motivated, and proactive with a strategic mindset.
